David Albelda features in a new episode of 'Camp de Mestalla: 1923 - 2023', VCF Media's series on the occasion of the centenary of the Mestalla on Avenida de Suecia. "For me, Mestalla is my footballing home".
The LaLiga title-winning celebrations back in 2002 are one of the moments that come quickly to David Albelda's mind when recalling his time as a Valencia CF player.
Great European nights against Leeds United, Arsenal FC or Lazio are not easily erased from the memory and even more so if they have been experienced in a stadium capable of turning matches around when the Mestalla crowd pushes you on, like in the memorable comeback against RDC Espanyol.
